Engagements and Marriages
ROSENTHAL, Alderman Samuel, of Ottawa, and Miss Augusta Posnanzki, daughter of the late Samuel Posnanzki, former mayor of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, were married by Rev. Samuel Hirschberg, of Temple Emanu-El, at the Pfister Hotel, Milwaukee, on Mon. June 21, 1909, at noon. The bride's wreath was worn by the bridegroom's mother at her wedding forty-one years ago. The bride was given away by her brother, Maurice Posnanzki. Miss Pearl Evelyn Levy was the maid of honor and Arthur Rosenthal was the best man. Guests included: Mrs. A.S. Rosenthal and Mr. and Mrs. A. Rosenthal, of Ottawa; Julius Lesser, of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. F. Kreider, of New York; Mrs. H.L. Levy and Miss Pearl Levy, of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. J. Edward Posnanzki and Maurice A. Posnanzki, of Chippewa Falls; Rabbi and Mrs. Samuel Hirschberg, Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. I.P.
