This family lived at Langley Park, Dun, Angus for many years.  Their gravestone is in the old churchyard at Pert, and is inscribed:
“1822.  Erected by Rachel Cree in memory of her husband Andrew Low Plough and Cartwright at Langley Park who died 27th May 1819 aged 68 years, also her son Andrew who died 21st Nov 1804 aged 16, David her son died 27th March 1827, aged 23.  John died at Calcutta 1828 aged 30.  Laughlan died at Liverpool 16th Aug 1840 aged 46 and Rachel Cree died 17th Jan 1842 aged 78 years.”
On the reverse side of this gravestone is an inscription for Alexander Low and Elizabeth Findlay (see ID=1).  It is possible that this stone replaced an earlier one for Alexander and Elizabeth.
