Low) Originally I viewed the microfilm of the Straiton OPR and it was barely legible, but determined the year of marriage was 1794 and the name of wife looked like “Clievi (Illegible).” Julia Dalgleish Sauter found a transcript of Staiton marriages, which has been entered here.

Inventory on death mentions he had only one surviving brother, named Alexander Aird, shoemaker.
