Came to Canada in 1909 with mother and siblings, on the SS Cassandra, departing Glasgow and arriving at Quebec 1909 July 10. Travelled in “Steerage.” Final destination was listed as Ottawa on the ship passenger list. Father came to Canada earlier.
Made a trip to USA crossing at Niagara Falls 1929 May 24 for one day as a tourist “sightseeing.” Record shows height at 5’ 11” and occupation bricklayer. Address at that time was 178 Pretoria St. in Ottawa.
Resided 809 Prescott St., Kemptville, at time of death.
